Christmas Time

It’s been a long time since I have updated my blog. Sorry to all of you who might read it. This is what has been happening so far in the past month. I have been off work for almost 1 week and a half for Christmas break, and Oh my paycheck is going to be so horrible. I have to admit its nice to be able to spend some time with Alex and Austyn without having to worry about working and being to tired. Christmas time has come and past for this year, but we are looking forward to the next. With Alex hopefully starting school in the next week (hopefully he can get all his stuff in place to start). And me still continuing to work as a dental assistant full time, we can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. Austyn has grown up so much and I can't believe she is already 15 months. She is such a little ball of fire. Always running around, and now with Christmas that has come, I find myself picking up most of the toys at least 2 to 3 times per day. As long as she enjoys it I really could care less.
This holiday was so much fun. We got to spend time with Alex's sister and brother in law, and her two cute boys that live in California. And enjoyed watching Austyn rip into her Christmas presents.

ZOO LIGHTS!!!

As I had said above we were able to spend time with Alex's sister and brother in law. We tried to get together as many times as we could. One night we tried to attend to zoo lights up at the hoogle zoo. With it being freezing cold outside with 3 little kids. It was a little challenging. It was fun, but for sure next year we won't be going again.

We first started our night at Alex's grandma's house to visit with to family. Austyn and her cousin carter had so much fun pushing the button on the snowman. The snowman played the piano and the little kids danced. It was so much fun to watch all the kids enjoy each other’s company.

Then we headed off to the zoo. Austyn of course fell asleep in the car on the way up. I had to turn around and get a picture because she look so cute.

It was freezing cold, but so much fun to spend time together. Here we all are huddled around a heater outside.

Austyn all bundled up for the zoo.

Cousin Mason all bundled up with Austyn's pink blanket.

COUSIN TIME!!!

So the week of Christmas I had to work that Tuesday. While I enjoyed the many adventures at work, Alex took Austyn up to play with her cousins Mason and Cater. She was so sweet with them. Alex said that all she wanted to do was follow Mason around. And she would give kisses to cousin Carter. I did find out later that day that Austyn was trying to be a little sneak and tried to take cousin Carters binkie and bottle away. Bad girl, you'd think with Austyn not having a binkie since she was 6 months that she would not try and steal. Anyway she is still a fun baby, hopefully that's what you'd still think of her, even though she acts like she is 2 years old.

Austyn enjoyed playing with cousin carter. Hopefully she was a nice little girl.

Austyn's cousin Carter.

As you can probably tell these aren't great pictures. Its so hard to capture little kids when all they want to do is play. Well here are the best pictures of Austyn with her cousin Mason. Alex said she just clung to him. I think when the time comes for another kid Austyn will be a great big sister.

CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

For Christmas Eve my family all get together to open up gifts, because its so hard to try and see everyone Christmas day. We all get together and eat tons of food and talk. Austyn had so much fun this year. Last year she really was too little to enjoy everything. This is some of the adventure at my uncle’s house Christmas Eve.

Austyn all dressed up to go to my uncle's house for the Christmas Eve get together. She is so funny. You put a camera in her face and she always comes up with this kind of smile.

Austyn enjoyed opening up her gifts from everyone Christmas Eve.

CHRISTMAS TIME!!!

Last year could not compare to how much fun Christmas was. Austyn had a blast opening up all of her gifts. Thank you to everyone who got Austyn a gift. We really appreciate it, and I know she enjoyed everything she got. All Austyn kept doing was ooooo’ing and ahhhh’ing. It was so funny. It did take her about a hour to open all the gifts she got. Once she opened one up she only wanted to play with that one and so forth. You can only imagine it. It was fun though to see Austyn so happy. I have to admit that I am happy Christmas only comes once a year. She is crazy with all of her new toys. And its time to learn the word clean up!!! Haha

RANDOM PICTURES!!!

We had so much fun this holiday and hope that we can spend more time with our family. Thanks again for everything. Happy New Year!!!
