2 YEARS AGO

2 years ago today I married my best friend. It sure hasn't been an easy last couple of years, but it has made us a strong united family. I love him more everyday. He is such a wonderful individual and I couldn't ask for more. He is a great husband and an even better father. Austyn and I are so lucky to have him in our life. Happy Anniversary sweetheart. I hope to celebrate even more wonderful years with you!!!

One year ago we were sitting in the hospital after 12 hours of labor. Our little baby girl was born at 3:44 am weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces. She was such a easy baby. Never crying except when she was hungry. Now our little girl is one year old and more fun then ever. We love having her in our life. She makes everything wonderful. She is walking and can say daddy and hi. She makes everything complete. We love her so much and hope she has a wonderful birthday. Happy birthday Austyn Mae Johns we love you so much!!!

Austyn's Special Day!!!

I know I have been bad about posting on here. I have been really busy with work and Austyn, but this weekend was all about Austyn. Austyn has finally conquered her ear infection and cold. Its so much better having a happy baby, instead of a sick one. Also as most of you know Austyn's birthday is coming up in about a week and a half. We are so excited and so sad that our little girl is growing up, but she isn't so little anymore. She walks all the time now. She can say more words. And she is just a ball of energy. So for Austyn's birthday party (by little I really mean big. There is about 30 people that will be coming). We were going to spend the 20th of September cooking food then taking Austyn up to build a bear so she could pick out a little stuff animal. We really wanted to make a tradition for Austyn(even though she really won't remember it, it was still a fun time to spend with Austyn). Well we decided that on the 20th of September due to everyone coming over we took Austyn to build a bear early. Alex and I both picked out our favorite animal. I choose a monkey and Alex choose a horse. Well then we held them in front of her and had her choose the first one that she liked. Well it was the horse, but she absolutely loves her horse.



We had such a fun car ride down to build a bear. Austyn just kept trying to talk to us the whole time. What a big girl.

After build a bear we decided that we wanted to go on a picnic. Fortunately it was a in the moment kind of thing and we luckily had a blanket in the trunk of our car...

While we were at the park we found this cat. We first thought someone brought there cat to the park, then we realized that the cat was a outdoor cat. Austyn kept wanting to pet it, but that was a no no.

On the way home I turned my head around and found Austyn. She was so tired on her way home, but we all had a blast.



Overall we had such a wonderful weekend full of fun.

AUSTYN!!!

This blog has no pictures, sorry everyone. Well anyways Austyn has become such a big girl these days. She can fully walk on her own. With the occasional bump and fall down. She is a walking machine. Its so crazy how fast little kids pick up on things. This past couple of weeks have been a little rocky. Austyn has had a cold for almost one month. I took her to the doctor ( It was really some stupid PA lady who didn't know what she was thinking) and she said that she just had a little bit of the allergies and to give her a little allergy medicine. Yeah right are you kidding me!!! And of course all moms know what is really wrong with there child. Well anyways so I gave Austyn some allergy medicine for almost a week and a half and the cold didn't seem to get any better. Yesterday was the worst day off all though. She had diarrhea five times in one hour. And it wasn't just any diarrhea it smelt the nastiest it EVER has. Well so I tried to get her into her doctor that day. But he was all booked out. So I saw another PA ( This time he was smarter and listened to me more) and come to find out Austyn has her first ear infection and the doctor said that she has had it for awhile. Oh my I felt so bad for my little girl. We got her, her medicine and it just conks her right out. And its not even that strong. Just 1 tsp of Amoxicillin. So hopefully she will be feeling a little better in a couple of days. We hope to have pictures of our little baby up soon. Hope fully of her walking. Thanks for reading.

Gotta Love Her!!

Today was so much fun. Austyn and I went to visit our friends Nikita and Tavianna (Tavi is Nikita's little girlie). We had so much fun. It was nice to get out with another mama and just have our little girls play. So with Austyn not really being around other little kids her age it's hard to really teach her to be nice. Austyn was such a bully. Poor little Tavianna, Austyn poked, pushed, pulled and anything else you could think of to her little friend, in the end making her cry. It was sad. Although Austyn isn't around little kids her age its not her fault entirely. Little kids just do that I guess. Other then that it was such a good day. Then we came home. I was fixing a Oreo desert and was just letting Austyn play. When I looked to see what she had gotten into this time I found this. I hope you guys all enjoy.


I started laughing it was so funny. I looked at her as she smiled. It was almost like she was saying " Mommy I'm just a little girl. You can't help but LOVE me"!!

Baby I be a walking

I can't believe it. Austyn's birthday is next month and she will be one. It seems almost like yesterday that I had her. It seems like the minute your out of high school your life just goes by so fast. Its so unbelievably crazy. Austyn is such a big girl. She can say "DADA", "BAMP PA" "HI" "BYE" "MAMA"(but only when she wants. She thinks it's so funny that when I say Austyn say Mama she will say Dada and start laughing.) she is just an amazing little girl. And I know everyone says that about there kid, but she really is.

How time fly's. Back in may she just barely learned how to crawl on mothers day. And today she can do so many more things. She loves remotes. She loves to suck on them and she loves to push them around the house. Recently she has learned to push the buttons on practically anything that she can get her hands on. She loves to go up to the TV while your watching it and flip the channels. Her great bamp pa has a little blue bird it sings zip pa de do da. She loves to push the button to make it sing. She pushes it over and over just to hear the beginning of the song. Then she start dancing and laughing. Its so funny.

Also this week has been so memorable. About three weeks ago Austyn started walking holding on to our hands. Today she started walking so well by herself. She loved it. Every time she would fall down after trying to walk she would start clapping. She is so much fun. I love it. I mean she has always been fun, just lately she has started to get a personality, which makes her even more fun. Little kids are amazing. They pick up on things so fast. I love her so much. But don't get any ideas. We are happy as a family of three and it will stay that way for at least two more years.

Friends && Family

This weekend was so crazy. With a almost 1 year old you can only imagine how crazy life gets. SATURDAY: I went to work from 6:45 to 1:00. As usual its running around and crazy busy. Sometimes you would never guess that being a dental assistant is crazy, but it can be when your short one assistant and have a back to back schedule. Then I went to the craft store so I could get somethings to finish up Austyn's birthday invitations, in time to give to her little friends at her friends birthday party later. The moment I get home of course its crazier. Austyn starts to cry the moment I walk in the house wanting to be held and played with. We both finish up the invitations, mostly me while Austyn played on the floor with her toys. Then off to her friends birthday party for fun and cake. Austyn had so much fun seeing her little friends. I had fun to getting to see my friends and having some adult interaction. Here are some pictures of Austyn at her friends birthday.





SUNDAY: We went up to visit Austyns grandpa wade and grandma ami. She loves going up to see them, and playing with the toys they have. Then all four of us went up to great grandma Bohns house and played with her and ate goldfishies. Austyn loves seeing her family, and we love seeing them too. We only wish that we lived a little bit closer to her great grandma so we could see her more. We all love visiting her. Especially Austyn.
